MAC Lipstick in Sandy B: $14

Happy Sunday everyone! How were your weekends? Mine was fab, mainly because I took a little trip to the MAC store I was running low on my favorite MAC lipstick, Sandy B & let me tell you, I can not go a day without this lipstick. It is seriously my go-to lip color! It looks great with any style of makeup I’m wearing & any color clothing I have on. It just looks great with my skin tone & complexion & it is ALWAYS in my bag Love love love it & it’s only $14!

Skin Scare

Hello my beautifuls! What’s going on? I want to share with you a little skin breakthrough I had today:

So I’ve been having LOTS of trouble with my skin lately. I’ve been getting tons of pimples (more than the usual that-time-of-the-month breakout,) the pores on my cheeks and forehead are clogged (I cleanse, moisturize, remove makeup daily & do a deep cleansing mask twice a week,) and my skin is SUPER dry! I’ve tried EVERYTHING. New cleansers, acne treatments, facials, and yet my skin just won’t seem to cooperate!! So what’s up? Am I allergic to a product I’m using? Is it just the change in weather? Is it because I’m getting older? Nope. It is actually something much more simpler than that. Think about this: how often do you clean your makeup brushes? If the answer is never, consider this: would you brush your teeth with a dirty toothbrush everyday? Read this awesome article I found on the Sephora blog & prepare to be amazed!

Get the Look: Rihanna and Katy Perry

Katy Perry & Rihanna at the Karl Lagerfeld SS2010 Show

What I love most about fashion week isn’t the amazing clothes, shows or models. It’s the celebs! Most of the time, I skip right over the collection highlights on Style.com and go straight to the front row coverage.

Here, we have Katy Perry and Rihanna looking SMOLDERING hot front row at Karl Lagerfeld. Want to get their looks? It’s simple!

Katy Perry:

1. Apply a rosy pink base shadow all over eye lid, then contour by applying a brown shimmer in the crease and under the lash line.

Try: Smashbox Eyeshadow Trio in Head Shot: $28.

2. Line eyes with a chocolate brown eyeliner on the top lash line and the inside corners. Blend outward for a smokey look.

Try: CoverGirl Perfect Blend Eyeliner in Mink: $4.39.

3. Finish off the eye look with a brown mascara. Do 2 coats on top & bottom lashes.

Try: Benefit BADgal brown mascara: $19.

4. For that taupe-y pinkish lip, Try: Maybelline New Color Sensational Lip Color in Born With It: $7.49.

Rihanna:
